Italy

Fattoria Ambra is a family-run estate in Carmignano, Tuscany, owned by the Romei Rigoli family since 1870. Giuseppe “Beppe” Rigoli, an agronomist and oenologist, leads both vineyard work and winemaking with his wife Susan, nephew Guido Cantini, and cellar master Fabio Marzotti, reflecting a hands-on, multigenerational approach. The estate farms certified organic vineyards across four noted Carmignano crus, with a clear focus on site and terroir. Notes highlight the area’s protected microclimate beneath the Montalbano range, as well as the team’s close attention in the vineyard, including climate adaptation measures and new Sangiovese plantings. The range centers on Carmignano and related traditional wines, alongside organic Vermentino and other local varieties.
