Domaine du Prieuré

France

Domaine du Prieuré is a family-run Burgundy estate based in Savigny-lès-Beaune, with roots dating to 1921 and four generations of vine growing behind it. Today it is led by Stephen Maurice/Roch with his wife Luci, alongside Jean-Michel, Yvonne and co-director Yannick Champ. The domaine works vineyards in Savigny-lès-Beaune, the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including Premier and Grand Cru sites. Farming is centered on respect for terroir, with organic conversion underway since 2020, no herbicides, ploughing, manual vineyard work, low yields and careful plot-by-plot harvesting. In the cellar, fermentations start naturally, extraction is kept gentle, and élevage is tailored by appellation before bottling at the domaine.
