Cozzarolo is a family-run winery in Spessa di Cividale, Friuli, with roots in the region’s wine sector dating to the early 20th century. The family has worked its own vineyards since 1952, and the business is now carried forward by children and grandchildren, who oversee work in both vineyard and cellar. Its wines draw on native varieties of the Colli Orientali alongside well-adapted international grapes, spanning white, red, sparkling, and special styles. Sustainability is an important focus: the winery uses renewable energy and recyclable packaging, while Poggio Ridente is organically managed without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, GMOs, or genetic manipulation. The estate emphasizes direct vineyard work and producing sincere, genuine wines from carefully grown grapes.
