Conde de San Cristóbal is a family-owned estate in Ribera del Duero’s Pago de Valdestremero, on the region’s Golden Mile, managed by the Mata family within the Marqués de Vargas Group. It farms historic vineyards organically and is transitioning toward organic certification. The estate focuses on premium red wines from very low yields, with winemaking led by Jorge Peique and supported by consultants Xavier Ausás and David Pernet.
