Château de Roquebrune is a family-owned estate in Lalande-de-Pomerol, held by the Guinjard family since 1880 and managed by Florent Guinjard. Its vineyard lies on sandy, gravelly and clay-rich terraces near Libourne, with Merlot predominant alongside Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate follows sustainable, reasoned viticulture, avoiding chemical herbicides and systemic treatments, and manages wastewater with ecological equipment. Harvesting is carried out by hand at optimal ripeness. Florent Guinjard combines inherited Bordeaux traditions with evolving winemaking techniques, producing red wines with minimal oak ageing and a focus on expressing the estate’s terroir.
