Family-owned Case Paolin, founded by the Pozzobon family in the early 1970s, farms organically in Veneto’s distinctive Belvedere and Montello sites. The family was among the first in the area to drastically reduce chemical use, completing organic certification in 2012. Its wines reflect these contrasting soils: Belvedere’s grey river stones bring freshness, while Montello’s iron-rich red soils produce more complex, long-lived wines. The winery makes quality Prosecco from north-south-facing Glera vineyards, alongside still wines including Manzoni Bianco, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Diego, Adelino and Mirco have carried the family tradition forward, combining close attention to the vines with a modern cellar and a strong commitment to nature and sustainability.
