Carmen

Chile

Carmen is a historic Chilean winery in the Central Valley, founded in 1850 and now owned by Santa Rita Estates. A pioneer of South American winemaking, it became known as the “Home of Carménère” following the grape’s rediscovery in its vineyards in 1994. The winery produces wines from several Chilean valleys, combining tradition and innovation to express different terroirs. Its winemaking is led by Emily Faulconer and reflects a stated focus on excellence and artistic inspiration.
