Bodegas Juan Gil is a family-owned winery in Murcia, founded in 1916 and now led by the fifth generation of the Gil Vera family, with Miguel and Ángel Gil Vera working alongside their siblings and spouses. The estate farms vineyards in several Spanish D.O. regions, with vines rooted in Triassic sand and limestone scree soils. Viticulture is dry-farmed and ecological, with no pesticides or herbicides used. The winery is fully solar powered, operates a zero-waste composting program, and is working toward 100% organic production. Its wines are also vegan certified, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability across both farming and cellar practices.
