Babylonstoren is a historic wine estate in South Africa’s Western Cape, founded in 1692 at the foot of the Simonsberg. It operates as a diversified farm combining wine production with an eight-hectare garden, boutique hotel, restaurant and bakery, emphasizing agriculture beyond large-scale output. Its flagship Babel, launched in 2011, blends seven varieties sourced from more than 100 single vineyards across the property. Winemaking is led by Klaas Stoffberg.
