Adega Pedralonga is a family-owned winery in Rías Baixas, run by the Alfonso family, whose winemaking tradition in Val do Umia reaches back generations. Re-established in 1997, the estate remains a small, artisanal operation focused on careful vineyard work. Its vineyards are farmed biodynamically, without pesticides or mineral fertilizers, with manual trellis cultivation, hand harvesting, and practices guided by lunar phases. Located on sandy-loam soils over granite in an Atlantic climate, the vines are suited to Albariño. The wines are made without chemical corrections or filtration and are noted for balanced acidity and a distinctive mineral character derived from the granite terroir.
