Wittmann-Immel is a family-run estate in Westhofen, Rheinhessen, owned and managed by Philipp Wittmann, his wife Eva, and his parents Günter and Elisabeth. The family’s winemaking lineage dates back to the 17th century, with Philipp serving as head winemaker. The estate has farmed organically since around 1990 and biodynamically since 2004, and is certified by Respekt-BIODYN and FAIR’N GREEN. A VDP member since 1998, it focuses significantly on Riesling, which accounts for around half of its vineyards. Its approach combines long family continuity with certified organic and biodynamic viticulture.
