Weingut A.J. Adam

Germany

A.J. Adam is a family-run Mosel estate led by siblings Andreas and Barbara Adam, who reclaimed and rebuilt their grandfather’s vineyards from 2000 onward. Based in the Dhron valley, the domaine focuses on Riesling from steep, slate-rich parcels including sites such as Dhroner Hofberg, Häs’chen and Piesporter Goldtröpfchen. Farming is near-natural and low-intervention, with hand-worked terraces, intensive soil work, hand harvesting and careful selection. In the cellar, fermentations are spontaneous with ambient yeasts in old oak fuder and halb-fuder as well as stainless steel, with no additives. The estate is FAIR'N GREEN certified and known for pure, mineral, terroir-focused wines.
