Viñedos y Bodegas Gormaz is a Ribera del Duero producer founded as a cooperative in 1972 and acquired by Juan Rivero in 2004. It is now family-run and part of the Hispanobodegas group, working with vineyards across numerous parcels owned by local growers, including very old vines. The estate combines traditional vineyard resources with newly trellised, drip-irrigated plots, while several ranges carry vegan certification. Winemaker María José García Moreno oversees the 12 Linajes line, reflecting the producer’s focus on expressing its regional vineyards through carefully managed wines.
