Rosario Vera is a boutique Rioja label founded in 2016–2017 by the family-owned Gil Family Estates, honoring fourth-generation matriarch Rosario Vera. Its vineyards lie in Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta, with small Tempranillo parcels on limestone-clay soils. The vines are dry-farmed without pesticides or herbicides, hand-harvested, and vegan certified. Individual parcels, ranging from 15 to 60 years old, are vinified separately in French oak, emphasizing site expression and careful, small-scale production.
