Podere Casanova is a family-owned Tuscan estate in Montepulciano, founded in 1971 and now run by Giacomo Neri with his sons Giovanni and Gianlorenzo. Set near the Val d’Orcia and the lakes of Montepulciano and Trasimeno, its vineyards benefit from marked diurnal temperature variation and varied sandy, clay, loamy and gravelly soils. The estate focuses on traditional Tuscan winemaking and the expression of Montepulciano, including Vino Nobile, while also producing IGT Toscana wines. Grapes are hand-harvested and undergo three stages of selection before fermentation. The winery emphasizes balance, elegance, territorial identity and careful respect for the raw material, combining established methods with contemporary innovation. It has adopted the Equalitas sustainability standard and offers tours, tastings and blending experiences through its Wine Art Shop and Wine Room.
