Pietro Zardini is a family-owned boutique winery in Valpolicella Classica, founded in 2000 by Pietro Zardini in memory of his grandfather, with deep roots in the region dating back to the early 1800s. The estate farms 7–8 hectares of hillside vineyards on morainic soils, maintaining modest yields of about 120 quintals per hectare and harvesting grapes by hand. Winemaking combines traditional maceration with aging in oak, steel, and amphorae—the latter studied extensively by Pietro, who holds formal qualifications in viticulture. The winery focuses on artisanal quality, including amphora-aged selections and Recioto, and welcomes visitors for tastings and tours that share the history and passion behind its wines.
