Founded in 2014 by Eric Narioo with the cooperative of independent Abruzzo farmers U.V.A., Passione Natura works across vineyard management and tailored vinifications in Abruzzo. Its wines are certified organic and biodynamic, with biodynamic grapes, pesticide-free farming, and parcel-by-parcel traceability. The winery follows natural winemaking practices, using only sparing sulfur at bottling; some wines are presented as zero-sugar and without added sulfites. Montepulciano comes from the organic vineyards of Valle Reale in the Abruzzo mountains, within the Gran Sasso and Maiella National Parks, where responsible viticulture is practiced. Narioo leads the winemaking alongside a cooperative of expert winemakers, including Leonardo Pizzolo.
