Isnardi Ernesto is a family-run producer in Castagnito, in Piedmont’s Roero area, founded by Ernesto Isnardi in 1957 and now carried on by Ernesto, his sons Fabrizio and Felice, and grandson Andrea, an oenology graduate active since 2011. The estate works only with grapes grown in its own vineyards, including Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Arneis, and Chardonnay. Farming is described as sustainable and eco-compatible, with hand-pruning, hand-harvesting, biodiversity protection, and participation in the Green Experience project focused on integrated production and landscape care. In the cellar, winemaking is traditional, with vinification in stainless steel and about a year of oak aging for selected wines to give greater roundness. The wider farm also raises Piedmontese cattle, reflecting its rooted agricultural character.
