Gallica is a boutique Napa Valley producer founded in 2007 and owned and operated by Rosemary Cakebread, who serves as sole winemaker. Based in St. Helena and Oakville, the estate focuses on limited, single-vineyard wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Albariño, Petite Sirah and rosé. Its vineyards are certified organic through CCOF and the USDA National Organic Program, with composting, cover crops, insectaries, native bees and reduced-water or dry-farming initiatives. Wines are made in small lots with hand punch-downs and small-scale fermentation, aiming to express each site and vintage with an elegant style. Cakebread brings experience from Inglenook, Spottswoode and Mumm Napa Valley, while the family property includes heritage vines and a long-standing commitment to holistic organic farming.
