Domaine Joblot

France

Domaine Joblot is a family-owned estate in Givry, Burgundy, founded by Charles Joblot and now led by fourth-generation Juliette Joblot with manager Hélène Sarkis. The domaine farms with a “common sense” approach focused on vine balance, soil preservation, and the environment, using natural grass cover, light under-row work, careful pruning, copper and sulfur treatments, some plant teas, and no chemical herbicides or insecticides. Harvesting is manual with parcel sorting, and the cellar work emphasizes indigenous yeasts and restrained use of new oak. The estate is noted for precise, regular expressions of its climats in both red and white wines, with an eco-responsible philosophy from vine to bottle.
