Domaine du Cinquau

France

Domaine du Cinquau is a family-owned estate in Artiguelouve, in the Jurançon appellation of South West France, with more than 400 years of history. Pierre Saubot restored its winemaking vocation in 1984, and the domaine now produces Jurançon and Jurançon Sec, including dry, sweet, sparkling and late-harvest styles. Its clay-limestone vineyards include native varieties such as Petit and Gros Manseng, with passerillage used for sweet wines. The estate has practiced organic farming since its conversion, with 2022 the first officially organic vintage, and holds the highest HVE environmental certification. A modern winery complements the historic Béarnaise setting, while tastings, open days and local partnerships reflect its strong hospitality focus.
