Domaine des Bosquets

France

Family-owned in Gigondas since 1961 by Gabriel and Juliette Meffre, descendants of the Chauvet family, Domaine des Bosquets combines deep local roots with a long vineyard history dating back to 1376. Under Julien Bréchet, the estate has shifted from wines of “impression” to wines of “expression,” with plot-by-plot vinification and a clear focus on terroir. Farming is organic-certified since 2021 and guided by biodynamic principles, with no chemical inputs, green fertilisation, and manual harvesting. Old vines, low yields, native yeasts, gentle extraction, and élevage in large casks, demi-muids and stoneware jars define a low-intervention style aimed at purity and finesse.
