Founded by Gérard Chauveau and his family in 1969, Domaine Beauséjour is based on the Cher hillsides in the Loire Valley, where its vines grow in flint-rich soils. The domaine has transitioned to organic viticulture and now focuses on a small production from approximately 20 hectares of vines. Following the 2021 purchase by wine entrepreneur Ivan Massonnat, vineyard work and cuvée strategy are directed by the new ownership, with Sarah Mianville handling winemaking from the 2022 vintage onward. The domaine’s history reflects a shift from the Chauveau family’s long stewardship toward a more focused, artisanal approach.
