Domaine Balansa is a family-run estate founded in 2015 by Céline Peyre and Alexandre Gressant in Villeneuve-les-Corbières, Aude. Operated with Céline’s parents, the estate farms organically and biodynamically, with certification since 2021. Its vineyards include old Carignan, Syrah, Grenache Noir and Lledoner Pelut vines planted on schist, clay and limestone soils. Winemaking is minimal-intervention and natural, using spontaneous fermentations, carbonic and semi-carbonic maceration, and limited sulfur. The resulting wines are balanced and elegant, with aromatic character, soft tannins and lively acidity.
