De Grendel is a Graaff family estate on the fynbos-covered slopes of Tygerberg Hill in South Africa’s Western Cape, now under the fourth-generation custodianship of Sir De Villiers Graaff. Recognized as a WWF Conservation Champion, it maintains an indigenous renosterveld conservancy and places sustainable farming and conservation at the heart of its multi-generational stewardship. Winemaking is led by Cellar Master Charles Hopkins, supported by Assistant Winemaker Morgan Steyn.
