The name De Angelis refers to several distinct Italian wine businesses, including De Angelis Corvi near Controguerra in Abruzzo and Tenuta De Angelis. De Angelis Corvi is led by Corrado De Angelis, while Tenuta De Angelis was founded by the family in the 1950s and is managed by Quinto and Alighiero Fausti. Both estates emphasize certified organic farming, with practices including cover crops, grassed vineyards, hand harvesting, native-yeast fermentation, and minimal intervention. De Angelis Corvi is also converting to biodynamic farming. A separate De Angelis winery in Sorrento is owned by Francesco Di Somma, so the available evidence should not be treated as describing one unified producer.
