Château Suduiraut is a historic Sauternes estate in Bordeaux, classified as Premier Cru Classé in 1855. Its history dates to 1580, with the château rebuilt in the 17th century after destruction during the Fronde. Since 1992 it has been owned by AXA Millésimes, which states its aim is to preserve and continue the estate’s traditions. Led technically by Pierre Montégut, the estate emphasizes rigorous selection in both vineyard and cellar, as well as the essential role of human labor in expressing terroir. Its wines are shaped by the balance of climate, terroir and botrytis cinerea, with a style defined by minerality, elegance, concentration and freshness.
