Château Dauzac is a 1855 Grand Cru Classé estate in Margaux, Bordeaux, owned by the Roulleau family and managed by Laurent Fortin. Its single 49-hectare vineyard (45 ha Margaux, 4 ha Haut-Médoc) yields about 120,000 bottles annually. The estate combines tradition with innovation, practicing biodynamic viticulture, organic fertilization, hand-harvesting, gravity-flow vinification, and ecological pest control. Since 2016, it has produced 100% vegan wines. Notable projects include a carbon-neutral cuvée, agroforestry initiatives, and research into natural mildew control. The team, including technical director Philippe Roux and consulting oenologist Eric Boissenot, emphasizes biodiversity and sustainability across the 120-hectare property.
