Podere Castorani is a historic estate in Abruzzo’s Casauria DOCG, with origins recorded as far back as 1793 and a cellar located underground for naturally stable temperatures. Revived in 1999 by former Formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli, Lucio Cavuto and friends, it combines tradition with technical innovation. Its vineyards are certified organic, with low-yield farming and hand harvesting, while a humidity-controlled drying room supports grape production. Wines are fermented in cement tanks and large oak tonneaux, with winemaking overseen by Trulli and cellar and vineyard work involving winemaker Angelo.
