Producer

Carminucci

Italy

Founded in 1928 by Giovanni Carminucci, Carminucci remains a family-owned winery in Marche, now led by his son Piero. Its vineyards around Offida, Ripatransone and Grottammare are cultivated according to organic principles, without herbicides or pesticides, and include indigenous varieties such as Passerina, Trebbiano and Pecorino. High planting density, selective bunch thinning and low yields reflect a focus on quality. The winery produces regional denominations including Rosso Piceno, Rosso Piceno Superiore, Falerio, Pecorino and Passerina, with a style particularly associated with dry, medium-bodied red wines.
