Family-owned Domaine Alain Gautheron is based in Fleys, in Burgundy’s Yonne, and farms vineyards across Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. The estate is run by Alain Gautheron and his son Cyril, a seventh-generation winemaker who leads day-to-day operations and winemaking, with Agnès Gautheron also part of the team. Viticulture combines low yields, green harvesting, grass between rows, no herbicides and natural pest control under a lutte raisonnée approach. Organic viticulture has been practiced on selected parcels since 2009, and the domaine holds HVE Level 3 certification. Its wines are focused on the range of Chablis appellations from the family’s vineyards.
