Vinovalie is a large, collectively owned cooperative in Occitanie’s Sud-Ouest, created in 2006 through the merger of four cellars. Its member growers work across Gaillac, Fronton and Cahors, producing wines from a broad regional vineyard base. The cooperative has a clear environmental focus: HVE3 certification currently covers part of its vineyards, with further certification targets in place. Its approach includes protecting biodiversity, refining phytosanitary practices, rationalising fertilisation and managing irrigation carefully. Vinovalie is chaired by Francis Terral and represents the combined work of its many grower-members rather than a single individual winemaker.
