SEMELI ESTATE

Greece

Semeli is a privately owned Greek winery founded in 1979, with its estate in the hilly Koutsi area of Nemea and vineyards connected to the Nemea and Mantinia PDOs. It works with affiliated local growers through long-term partnerships, offering cultivation advice and fair pricing while supporting the surrounding communities. The winery combines traditional values with modern, gravity-fed technology and focuses on indigenous varieties including Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Roditis and Malagousia, alongside selected international grapes. Its wines express the character of Greece’s Mediterranean climate and distinctive regional terroirs. Winemaking is led by Yiannis Flerianos. Semeli also emphasizes environmental responsibility, with a carbon-neutral, energy-efficient winery and a transition toward regenerative viticulture.
