Producer

Ladera

United States

Founded by Anne and Pat Stotesbery in 1998, Ladera is a family-run Napa Valley producer focused on high-elevation, mountain-grown wines. Howell Mountain remains its core, particularly for limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon, while fruit is also sourced from respected Napa Valley growers and from the family’s Pillow Road Vineyard in the Sebastopol Hills of Russian River Valley, producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Winemaker Jade Barrett, with Ladera since 2012, takes a vineyard-driven approach aimed at depth, elegance, balance, and aging potential. The Stotesbery family remains closely involved, alongside second- and third-generation vintners, with an emphasis on hands-on vineyard care, clonal selection, and artisan winemaking. Ladera offers intimate, by-appointment tasting experiences.
