Illuminati is a family-owned winery in Controguerra, Abruzzo, within the Colline Teramane Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG. Founded by Nicola Illuminati in 1890, it has five generations of history and farms vineyards planted to Montepulciano, Passerina, Pecorino, and Trebbiano. The estate emphasizes a gentle relationship with the land and an artisanal approach to winemaking, prioritizing quality over quantity and treating each vintage as a unique work of art.
