Domaine Comtesse de Cherisey is a family-owned, sixth-generation estate in Blagny, Burgundy, led by Hélène Martelet-de Chérisey and winemaker Laurent Martelet. Rooted in heritage since 1811, the domaine is dedicated to expressing the terroirs of the Hameau de Blagny through certified organic farming, reasoned viticulture, and careful agrobiological work. Vineyard and cellar practices emphasize manual work, minimal intervention, gravity flow, aging in wood, and wines made without fining or filtration. The estate also preserves its landscape heritage, including historic dry stone walls that support biodiversity and help prevent erosion, and even sources oak for barrels locally from the Blagny forest.
