Domaine Bourdy

France

Domaine Bourdy is a historic family estate in Jura, founded around 1475 and still run by the Bourdy family in its 15th generation. Today the domaine is overseen by brothers Jean-François Bourdy and Jean-Philippe Bourdy, with Jean-Philippe leading winemaking. The estate farms organically and biodynamically, with Demeter certification since 2006 and AB organic certification, and works with native-yeast fermentations and low sulfite additions. Their vineyards include holdings in Château Chalon, and the domaine’s approach emphasizes careful viticulture and traditional, minimally interventionist cellar work.
