Domain Road Vineyard

New Zealand

Domain Road Vineyard is a privately owned, family-run estate in Bannockburn, Central Otago, established in 2002 and overseen day to day by Steven Crosbie. Its vineyards occupy the upper Bannockburn terraces above the Kawarau River, with additional fruit from the Defiance Vineyard on nearby Felton Road. Sheltered valleys, distinctive schist-based soils and a cool-climate setting shape site-specific wines led by Pinot Noir, alongside Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Grapes are hand-tended, with minimal-intervention winemaking focused on expressing place. The farm is certified sustainable and working toward full organic certification.
