Château Les Cruzelles is a small family-run estate in Lalande-de-Pomerol, Bordeaux, acquired by Denis Durantou in 2000 and now overseen by his wife and daughters following his death in 2020. Recent vintages have been managed by Noémie Durantou and Olivier Gautrat, continuing Denis Durantou’s direction. The vineyard is planted to 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc on rich clay and gravel soils, with a notably high share of Cabernet Franc for the appellation. Fermentation takes place in tank, followed by ageing in 50% new French oak, producing polished Bordeaux with a clear emphasis on site and élevage. No sustainability certifications or specific farming practices are reported.
