Casale Marchese

Italy

Casale Marchese is a family-run estate in the Frascati DOCG territory of Lazio, where the Carletti family has cultivated wine and olive oil for about two centuries and seven generations. Set in the historic Castelli Romani, the estate combines traditional Frascati varieties with selected international grapes, farming under integrated-production rules and using low-environmental-impact products. Grapes are harvested by hand according to variety and ripeness, then softly pressed to preserve aromas. Winemaking, bottling, and packaging take place on the estate, in a recently renovated cellar alongside an eighteenth-century barrel room. The family also produces extra virgin olive oil from its own centuries-old olive trees, reflecting its respect for the land, raw materials, and local traditions.
