Weingut von der Mark Walter is an owner-operated estate near Freiburg, on the edge of Germany’s Black Forest. Jürgen von der Mark, a Master of Wine since 1996, is both proprietor and sole winemaker. The estate focuses on Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder), sourced from 40-year-old vines.
