Vinos Del Viento

Spain

Vinos del Viento is a founder-run winery in Campo de Borja, Aragón, established by Michael Cooper and his partner Rosario after relocating to Spain in 2002 and building their own winery. The estate focuses on indigenous Garnacha and Cariñena from high-altitude, old-vine, dry-farmed vineyards across the Ebro Valley and Moncayo area, aiming to express distinct microclimates and terroirs. Farming and winemaking are low-intervention, with chemical-free viticulture, biodynamic preparations, rainwater collection, conversion to organic, renewable energy, and lightweight recycled bottles. Michael Cooper, a DipWSET, is the winemaker. Select wines, including the Los Angeles line, follow Vins Méthode Nature certification, with no added sulfites and deliberately limited production.
