Vini Manenti is a family-owned estate in Vittoria, in southeastern Sicily, founded in 2006 by Guglielmo and Marita Manenti, who also make the wines. Based in contrada Bastonaca between Vittoria, Acate and Comiso, the estate farms certified organic vineyards on calcareous clay soils rich in iron, under a hot, dry Mediterranean climate with strong day-night temperature shifts. The vines are trained in the traditional alberello bush-vine system, with all work carried out by hand. Their approach centers on natural, chemical-free viticulture, respect for local traditions, minimal extraction, and no new oak. Vini Manenti is also a member of the I Vigneri consortium of Sicilian winemakers.
