Vini del Roero is a family-run estate in Piedmont’s Roero region, purchased by Bartolomeo and Carolina Roagna in 1977 and now managed by their son Mario and grandson Giovanni. The third-generation team combines a passion for the land and inherited vineyard traditions with modern cellar technology. Its vineyards are farmed using non-interventionist, natural, biodynamic and certified organic methods, with manual weeding, traditional copper and sulphur treatments, and hand harvesting. Arneis, Barbera and Nebbiolo benefit from Roero’s protected natural setting. In the cellar, gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation support quality, while selected red wines mature in small oak barrels. The estate’s approach balances respect for biological equilibrium, family continuity and careful refinement.
