Vincent Gaudry is a family-owned Sancerre domaine based in Sury-en-Vaux, in the Loire Valley, and run by Vincent Gaudry as owner and winemaker. The estate’s hillside vineyards, spread across Sury-en-Vaux, Verdigny, Sancerre and Saint-Satur, are certified organic by ECOCERT and biodynamic by DEMETER. Recognized as Sancerre’s first certified biodynamic producer, the domaine has farmed organically for 30 years and biodynamically for 25. Its vines are predominantly Sauvignon Blanc, with some Pinot Noir, on clay-limestone, flint and chalk soils. Vineyard work emphasizes natural balance and includes horse cultivation in steep and old-vine parcels. Wines are made with spontaneous fermentation and natural yeasts, without bâtonnage, followed by extended aging, resulting in a range that includes Sancerre Blanc, Gaudry’Olle IGP and Sancerre Rouge.
