Vial-Magnères

France

Vial-Magnères is a fourth-generation, family-owned estate in Banyuls-sur-Mer and Port-Vendres, cultivating vineyards on steep schist terraces. Managed by Laurent Dal Zovo, Chrystel Sapéras and Olivier Sapéras, the estate follows a hands-on, low-input approach, avoiding mechanisation and working with low-yielding vines around 40 years old. Winemaking is carried out by hand in a traditional style. The family also focuses on preserving the property’s historic dry-stone canal system and the character of its terroir. No formal sustainability certifications are noted.
