Valdivieso

Chile

Valdivieso is a historic Chilean winery in the Central Valley, founded in the late 19th century and recognized as the first sparkling-wine producer in Chile and South America. It produces both sparkling and still wines, sourcing grapes from valleys including Casablanca, Leyda, Maipo, Curicó and Maule rather than owning vineyards. Its sparkling wines are made using the Charmat method, while its portfolio includes Varietal, Single Vineyard and Single Valley Lot wines designed to express different grapes and terroirs. The winery combines traditional techniques and heritage with modern technology, including wines from the La Rosa vineyard, planted in 1920 in Sagrada Familia, Lontué Valley.
