Tenuta Cavalier Pepe

Italy

Tenuta Cavalier Pepe is a family-owned estate in Sant’Angelo all’Esca, in Irpinia’s Taurasi DOCG area of Campania, founded by Angelo Pepe and now led by Milena Pepe, a viticulture and oenology graduate. The estate focuses on vineyard-led winemaking, combining ancient traditions with modern techniques and respect for the environment. Its sustainability program includes precision agriculture, weather stations, ecocompatible vineyard sensors, rational soil management and massal selection with field grafting to preserve genetic diversity. Traditional Irpinian varieties such as Aglianico, Fiano, Greco, Falanghina and Coda di Volpe are vinified in steel, concrete, oak and handmade amphorae. The Pepe family works with specialized collaborators, while the winery, restaurant and hospitality facilities offer an immersive expression of the territory.
