Tamaral

Spain

Founded in 1997 in Peñafiel on Ribera del Duero’s Golden Mile, Tamaral is a family-founded winery focused on quality and control from vineyard to bottle. It owns four vineyards planted exclusively to Tempranillo, including sites in Padilla de Duero, Castrillo de Duero and Pesquera de Duero, with varied soils and elevations of 760–900 metres. Tamaral carefully selects parcels to express differences in soil, climate and altitude, producing crianzas, reservas and estate wines. The winery works a limited number of hectares with close attention to detail and is moving toward organic viticulture and more sustainable practices. Its wines aim to reflect their terroir while preserving the grape’s fruity character, supported by modernised facilities and a committed team.
