Small Wonder Wines is a Tasmanian producer making estate-grown, cool-climate wines from vineyards in the Tamar Valley and Coal River Valley, on Palawa Country. Its Tamar Valley vineyard has been ACO-certified organic since 2022, while the Coal River Valley site is in conversion; farming includes permanent ground cover, soil-health management and biodiversity enhancement. The winery, opened in 2024, uses solar power, rainwater capture, wastewater treatment and 100% green energy. Owned by the Overstory Group since 2020 and overseen by Paul McArdle, the producer is led in the winery by Andrew Trio. Its expressive, vibrant wines include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and traditional-method sparkling wines, with a focus on place and small-batch production.
